Overview
Date Presented: February 27, 2025

On May 13, 2024, the Federal Reserve Board and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau adjusted certain dollar thresholds in Subpart B of Regulation CC. The effective date of the change is July 1, 2025.
The threshold increases will impact:
- Certain next-day availability requirements for delayed availability institutions
- Case-by-case hold calculations
- Cash withdrawal limitations
- Large deposit account holds
- New account holds; and
- Repeatedly overdrawn holds
Additionally, institutions will be required to send customers a change-in-terms notice reflecting the inflation-adjusted Regulation CC funds-availability amounts.
In this ninety-minute webinar we will:
- Discuss thresholds and dollar amounts impacted by these changes.
- Review hold examples using the new thresholds.
- Identify which disclosures will be impacted and what changes to make.
- Address your change-in-terms requirements and options.
