On May 13, 2024, the Federal Reserve Board and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau adjusted certain dollar thresholds in Subpart B of Regulation CC. The effective date of the change is July 1, 2025.

The threshold increases will impact:

  • Certain next-day availability requirements for delayed availability institutions
  • Case-by-case hold calculations
  • Cash withdrawal limitations
  • Large deposit account holds
  • New account holds; and
  • Repeatedly overdrawn holds

Additionally, institutions will be required to send customers a change-in-terms notice reflecting the inflation-adjusted Regulation CC funds-availability amounts.

In this ninety-minute webinar we will:

  • Discuss thresholds and dollar amounts impacted by these changes.
  • Review hold examples using the new thresholds.
  • Identify which disclosures will be impacted and what changes to make.
  • Address your change-in-terms requirements and options.
