Construction loans are unique, often involving interest-only payments during the construction phase and different obligations for construction and permanent phases. This can complicate understanding and disclosures. 

This seminar will focus on Truth-in-Lending/Regulation Z rules, including disclosure requirements, Appendix D assumptions, and finance charge/APR issues. We’ll also discuss how these loans are disclosed on Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure forms, clarifications from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and ongoing questions.
